Food for thought from Dr. Wafa Sultan

Check out this video.

Powerfull words and she has lots of guts to come out on al-Jazeera and say that. My favorite part is when the other guy jumps in and asks if she is a "non-believer", this is what really concerns him. No need to argue with a non-believer since she goes to hell anyways!

It was food for thought alright!
I thought, where is the other side of the debate?
I thought why is Memri putting out a one sided argument?

I thought, there must be a reason for you to accept this as logical when it's completely void of substance......

Use mind every now and then, that's what it's there for.

You are correct about Memri having edited the debate and portraying it as one sided. I'm no fan of Memri myself, but that doesn't negate the fact that she (Dr. Sultan) raised interesting points. Why don't you think about some of the points she raised and see if they are void or not? Is it not true that violence remains the predominant means of debate in the muslim world? Is it not true that the muslim world for the most part is uneducated, backwards, intolerant of others, has no respect for human rights, poor yet has abundant resources and oppressed? I think that we should introspect and ask ourselves hard questions instead of simply "voiding" them...
